We had some reports that people around the lake heard loon calls this week and yesterday (March 31), we spotted 4 loons on the lake. They were too far away to tell if two might be the babies born here last year. Loons ususally nest a little later in the season, most likely in May or June. We’ll keep a look out and post more loon news.
