LIA Annual Meeting July 16

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. 

Date & Time: Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Location: Chris Conant's camp (744 Beebe Lane) and via Zoom
Details: Join via Zoom (info to join the Zoom meeting is above) or come in person. The in-person meeting will be outdoors, chairs will be spaced, and you must wear a mask.  Come by boat, walk, or by car. If coming by car, there is overflow parking at the beach, if necessary.  

Agenda: Updates on lake issues, including an update on the milfoil permit process.  Election of officers and board members.

All are welcome to attend but only current members may vote.  If you have not yet joined or renewed your membership for 2020, you can do so at the meeting or online: https://www.lakeiroquois.org/help/donate

NOTE: due to COVID, we will not be having refreshments or our usual picnic following the business meeting.

The current LIA directors whose term expires in July 2020.  (All are eligible for re-election)
Jeff Davis (director since 2014),
Pat Suozzi (director since 2011),
Roger Jones (founder, director since 2007),
Roger Crouse (founder, director since 2007),
Robert Donnis (director since 2014),
David Horn (director since 2017),
Shannon Kelly (director since 2017),
Ernie Rossie (director since 2017).
All are running for re-election. 
 
Running for a first term as director:
Anne Stowman
 
Must have a minimum of nine (9) directors.  There are currently 13.
 
Officer Nominations (maximum of three (3) years in same office:
For President:  Open (Chris Conant is completing his third year as President.  A motion is planned to suspend the bylaws to allow Chris to run for a 4th year.)
For Vice President:  Jeff Davis (completing his second year as VP)
For Secretary:  Pat Suozzi (completing her first year as Secretary)
For Treasurer:  Roger Jones (completing his second year as Treasurer)
 
For any of the above elections, nominations may be made from the floor.
