Paving of Beebe Lane will be completed tomorrow, Thursday, 6/26 starting between 7-8:00 a.m. Completion will depend on how long it takes the base course to set up prior to final coat. The road may be closed at times so please plan accordingly
The gravel road will be Harley raked this Friday 6/27.
Additional seed and mulch will be completed next week.
These are the last items that need to be completed. This project has been planned over several years. Its completion marks a real milestone in the LIA’s work to reduce sediment and nutrient loading in the lake. The remediation work that is nearly complete on Beebe Lane will reduce erosion and help to clean up one of the most nutrient-laden tributaries of the lake. This project has been supported by funding from Congressionally directed funds through Senator Bernie Sanders office, Watersheds United Vermont, the Lake Iroquois Association, and the Lake Iroquois Recreation District.
